What colour shoes/bag for a red prom dress?

go with the red shoes! it looks very good when paired with a silver dress. get a french manicure instead since you've already have the red clutch and shoes. go for silver accessories as well.

I'd wear gold shoes and accessories, and get a red small clutch that matches your dress. Maybe even a red one with a gold trim.

I would say gold strappy heels with a nice gold clutch and gold jewelry (either long earrings and a bracelet or small stud earrings and a necklace). Sorry, kinda went off on a tangent there. :)

Red and silver go great together. The white shoes would stand out too much and look more casual.

the bag can be whatever you want but the shoes are critical....if the dress is formal length i would have them dyed to match....if it is tea length go with a taupe or similar neutral so they do not cut the visual line.

Since you said your dress is a dark red I think black would go better.

The rule of thumb is your shoes shouldn't be a lighter color than your dress...but I think as long as you find something tasteful and cute...go for it!
