Is there a way to make my truck, ipod capable?
Here is the thing,
Last night i got a new truck.
2008 Chevy Colorado.
so its stock stereo and well no jax (spelling) so without changing it how can i make it ipod capable if i can at all???

you can use this full controls from factory radio,and you will see all the ipod text on the colorado radio
vehicle must have xm radio or be xm ready

Does you radio have controls for an Aux CD changer (one that would go in the trunk)? If so, you may be able to find something that could turn the CD changer port into and Aux port for your iPod. Although, being an '08 might make it hard to find.

Go to Best Buy and check out there adapters. The Majority are just standard FM transmitter but many work very well. My brother uses one that not only transmits quit clearly but also charges his ipod. I have a similiar one but mine cam from Wal-Mart and it ddosent work as well. Make sure you get one with the largest range of of available channels or it can get hard to find open dead air stations
