In Firefox is it possible to save bookmarks so that their location is visible in the menu?

Hi

I love using Firefox, but as I have a lot of bookmarks (and sometimes sites give themn bizarre and vague titles) I would like the menus to show the location/url instead of the given title. It would also be great if I could then organise each folder inside the bookmarks by alphabetical order of location.

I know that when I press "organise bookmarks" I can view the URL and sort alphabetically - but it makes no change in the actual menu so doesn't help there. Is there any way of applying this alteration to the actual menu in the normal window?

Many thanks for your time.

If you go to organize bookmarks...click view..show columns and tick the things you want .to sort/list in your Bookmarks

    also little trick

→ Open your bookmarks (in sidebar is good, CTRL&B)

→ Right click on a brilliant bookmark

    → Select properties

→ In the keyword field, type "any keyword you want", then OK.

→ Close bookmar sidebar (CTRL&B again)

→ Go to navigation toolbar and type "your keyword" into the address bar → press Enter

" and go add keywords to all the rest of your most-used bookmarks :)

extra: dismiss below. I in basic terms figured something extra convenient out... Hit F10, and it brings back the record bar :) certainly, you may no longer. just to ascertain what you have been speaking approximately, I did the comparable ingredient, and that i would be damned if i could desire to discover everywhere that i could desire to precise-click that gave me a option to get those bars back. i could no longer do it. yet, right here is what i chanced on that worked... interior the beginning up menu, do "courses", "Mozilla Firefox". There, you're able to desire to have a decision that asserts "Firefox (secure mode). Run that, and it provides numerous examine packing containers. one in all those says "reset toolbars and controls" . go with that when which go with to restart firefox commonly...that worked, and reset the menu bars.

Yes. Click Bookmarks on tool bar and click on the folder then right click the title and then click on Properties ~ here you can re-name the title to anything you want.
