I'm getting ready to buy a laptop. Which would be the best?

I'm getting ready to buy a laptop. And am very confused with all the choices which one to buy. I'd like an HP, I hear those are really good. I download a lot of music, photo edit along with taking a lot of pictures, I like to make videos. Watch full length movies online. And multi-task on the internet. My budget is $850. Could anyone help me? Thank you.

I think the macbook pro or even the macbook airs are worth the dough. Among windows notebooks, the hps are great.

In my opinion, save up the money and get a Macbook, it's worth it in the end.

And for 1099 you can get a macbook.. not 2000.

    Haha.

save up for a $2000 macbook. they are twice as much as a dell but ten times better. its worth it to splurge. i would rather own a used macbook (like from ebay) than a new notebook.
