Why Neji SHOULD/COULD STILL beat Sasuke...?
Okay... everyone's a Sasuke fan and thinks the world of him... well I like Neji better, and here's why he'd beat Sasuke in spite of his ridiculousness...
First, Sasuke is a close range fighter (or close to mid or something like that). Neji is a close range fighter, and a better one at that. Sasuke does not want this lose range fight...
Second, ppl think Sasuke's "ultimate speed" would win this... riiiight.... I forgot... Neji's been fighting SLOW people his entire life... not fast ppl like rock lee lol. yes, by now Sasuke may be faster than rock lee he MAY be. but best believe, nej has been around faster fighter forever, Sasuke's speed is not all that special to Neji. and never has been. not to mention, Neji is pretty damn fast too! they just to publicize it and make it what defines him.
third ,chidori... yea... if Neji just allows him to do it... and doesn't do anything to counter it. lol. not something like kaiten, or Neji force feild, or his projectile... yea, he'd do nothing at all... *shakes head*
fourth, Sasukes genjutsu... ummm does genjutsu even work well on Byakugan users? and about doujutsu... as well as Byakugan users, especially Neji (being the most talented), see chakra flow... and it only making sense that doujutsu gathers chakra in the eyes... would n't Neji see the that charka flow and avoid it? hmm... should be possible.
fifth, non close combat... I just said Neji has a projectile this is taken care of... he no longer just close combat. and I doubt they're are a lot of ppl smart enough to figure out the byakugan's secret "shortcomings" amidst one battle lol. that was BS against Kidoumaru btw... but anyway...
sixth, Sasuke's "that justsu" this will probably be something pretty crazy… but almost no jutsu is “perfect” and unstoppable. And there’s a mountain of things that Neji can do that none of us have had revealed to us yet.
That’s the gist of why Sasuke wouldn’t beat Neji... and when you combine all of this with Neji other capabilites we DO already know about such as, Neji speed and/or his experience with and ability to handle speedy oppents, kaiten, 64 points, 128 points (which can more or less be done mid-air according to the anime lol, and which can easily be fatal from a single blow according to kidoumaru… and actually any clean hit is potentially fatal from a hyuuga but going on…), the Juuken, his projectile attack, and the fact that he already mastered two elements (though we don’t know which…) it already looks good for Neji…
So take all of that and then consider he has a lot more up his sleve. 1) He should be good at genjutsu considering his chakra control and intelligence. 2) he intelligent. 3) his uncle had to teach him all kinds of new things!
With this I think it’s obvious that Neji could and should win a fight with Sasuke… even though the authors probably wouldn’t allow it.<o:p></o:p>

I love Neji with all my heart! He could beat Sasuke hands down. Neji has gentle fist and if he uses it on Sasuke, Sasuke wont be able to use his chakra, thus giving Neji the chance to pwn him. And Sasuke's Sharingan is powerful but I don't think it's effective against the Byakugan. And of course Neji's Byakugan gives him an advantage.

I think Neij could win.
I think Neji could win the fight. I think both are good fighter,but Neji is better. Both Neji and Saskue are close rang type fighter,but that's where is the best at fighting. All of Neji's moves are close range attacks except for the air palm technique (in Naruto Shippuden),and for the most part so does Sasuke. Sasuke has close to medium type of attacks (such as fireball jutsu,and phonix flower jutsu),but thats about it.
I think when it can down to it Neji would win. Neji has a perfect defense which is said to be even better then Gaara's (at least that was said by Tenten),so really any attack Sasuke uses is point less,Neji can just defelct it/block or send it back depending on what the attack is.
Also any fire stlye attack against Neji are pretty much useless,not only could Neji use roatian to block the fire,but also use his ai palm even though that the fire could possibly spread at least it wouldn't hit him or the flame could just die out.
As for attacks Neji is the better fighter,not only is Neji fast,but he also has the byakugan,which h can clearly see Sasuke's chakra points. Although the only problem with the byakugan is two things,it has a blind,and if Saskue were to find this out it could prove to b deadly towards Neji and that Sasuke could possibly predict Neji movement and see his attacks even though Neji is really fast useing his sharingan
Besides once Neji gets close to Sasuke,h can easily use hi 8 trigrams 64 palm to stop his chakra flow,casuing Saskue not to be able to use any chakra technique's. Once being attack by the 8 trigrams 64 palm there really is no way of getting out o it or counter attaking. Also if Neji needed to he could also use 8 trigrams 128 palms which is even faster and more deadly. After getting his with that many attacks and stopping Sasuke chakra flow the fight would be over,and Neji would have won.

Neji is my second favorite character. He is awesome!!! He can beat Sasuke in level two form also because
He can use 8 Triagams 64 palms which can make Sasuke in to level one and repeat the jutsu. Then Neji can use 8 Triagrams 128 palms which would take out evel two. And after Neji uses all that chakra he still has energy to beat Rock Lee.

neji would defeat sasuke in a heart beat...well not really because sasuke is a big competion but i think neji would win...oh and i LOVE your little book you wrote

um..sorry but i think sasuke would beat neji because well, sasuke a genius...i'm not a sasuke fan though, i just like his fighting style but i hate his personality

well you can't really know who will win because in the manga or anime they haven't shown how strong sasuke is
