or use foam curlers overnight and take them out the next morning. if they come out bad then tie it in a low side ponytail or a high ponytail or just a regular low ponytail. or you can comb through it and waves will be created then you can put it in a low ponytail and divide into two or three sections then loop and twist each section around each other one at a time and hold in place with bobby pins. it's called a chignon and i love them!

you can also do this w/ curly/wavy hair. put hair into a low ponytail and twist sections around finger and leave about an inch or a little less out and bobby pin it into place. depending on your hair you should have around 4/5 sections a little more or less depending on how thick your hair is and how much hair you have. it's this but, again, you don't have to be too complicated with it:

you can also take a straightening iron or a curling iron and simply flip out or flip in or both to the ends of your hair. it's simple and shouldn't take long and you can't possibly mess up! if you do just straighten it and start all over. or you can just take a 1.5 in curling iron (or 1 1/4 in, whichever you want as long as it's bigger than 1 in) and curl your hair so that it's wavy. the bigger the iron the bigger and wavier your hair is. (unless your hair is like mines and won't hold curls unless you have a crap load of products used)

this is also a very cute, simple, and easy-to-achieve look for anyday. it can be worn on a day at work to a night in the club. very versatile. this is how you do it:

-When getting out of the shower, towel dry your hair until it is damp. Comb through it. Then squeeze a dime-sized amount of a curl defining cream into your hand, rub your hands together then scrunch it through your hair. After blow dry your hair with a diffuser scrunching your hair as the air is blowing on it. Then once your hair is dry take two bobby pins and pin back both sides of your hair.

-Pull back two front [fairly big] pieces of your hair, and secure it with a hair elastic. Then put a headband over top. Finish it off with some hairspray.

-Slide a headband through your hair, making it be two inches from your hairline.
