I need to lose approx. 15lbs by April...?
Me, my daughter, my mother, my sister and my two nieces are going to Greece on April 4th for Spring break.
I gained about 10 pounds over the holidays (I'm currently 130 lbs. and 5'2) and I would like to get back down to 115-120lbs. I tend to gain all right on my stomach and I have this layer that I just can't get rid of.
I work out at least 4 days a week (it's usually 5 or 6 times though...) I do cardio and I work my stomach everyday and then I switch off between upper body and lower body...
I am also eating very healthy, lots of protein, lots of fruits and veggies, very little carbs and sugars and I'm taking my vitimins and drinking protein shakes and also drinking tons of water...
Even with all of this I am not losing any weight or the fat layer on my stomach. Does anyone have any ideas of other things I can do to lose the weight and look good in my bikini when I'm on vacation in the Greek Isles in about 6 weeks???
Thanks in Advance!!!
I don't drink soda... I haven't in about 3 years... All I drink is water, water with lemon, soy milk and the occasional Gatoraid...

Im a NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. STOP DRINKING THE PROTEIN SHAKES!!! I love protein shakes, but there is a time and a place for everything. Right now you dont need the extra calories or protein. If you still want to drink them then replace one of your meals with the shake!!! This will help lower the caloric intake for your day and help to pull the weight off very quickly. With your workouts and the less calories. you should lose at least 10lbs in 6 months!!!! hope this answers your question=)

running helps a lot. start off at ten mins. then increase time by five mins everyday. after running, sit ups. start with two sets of twenty then add what you can handle. take breaks in between and keep hydrated.
dieting: no more than 30 carbs a day, and no more than 2000 calories a day. try to limit breads and pastas and cancel out all soda.
