i happen to know that the Creator exist,i see Prof in my everyday living,i am not a religious person but spiritual instead..my ancestors talk of a time when the Creator gave the code of living and if you think about morals you can see the method to such morals simply in the braking of such morals..also i would like to add,my morals are not set by the christen code so,i do not know if this helps you,to sum it up,i am blessed for an oral history indeed, the story of the first people(not Adam or eve)and the maker of all things and how logic came into light has been told over and over again and passed down to me by a people that have remembered and retold that story over and over again...it takes over two days to retell this story..ha ha,id love to sit with you around a fire and tell you in a way that you would know and understand..this is all....

Simply put, if you leave the Bible out, you can't know.

The Bible is the one concrete thing we have that gives answers as to what God is like and a bunch of other questions.

But there is a whole host of evidence that the Bible is more than just another book or man's invention. Evidence most atheists or those anti-religion, God, Christianity, etc. don't want to go near. It's not hard to find.

But another questions is this: Where do any morals come from?

Dostoevsky said it well: If there is no god, anything is okay (approx quote).

    Think about it.

The only possible answer is that they came from the people who invented him.

The one thing we would all agree on is that morality is about how individuals behave towards other individuals, and the consequences of that behaviour for each person. Christianity (as an example) tells us that only one god exists, and that he existed alone for all eternity until he decided that he needed to make some humans to love and worship him. Now, how would such an entity ever come up with ideas about how to interact with other individuals, if there is only one of him? How could he be the origin of moral views about relationships if he never had a relationship? How could he be the origin of rules about theft if he never lived in a society, or about how to interact with parents if he never had any? If you try to ascribe the origin of morality to a creator god then you end up at a loss to explain where it came from in the first place. The idea is clearly nonsense.

On the other hand, morality *does* make perfect sense if it is an evolutionary survival strategy - Part of the phenotype which has made us such an enormously successful social species. The 'function', then, of morality (if you can call it that) is simply to enhance the propogation of the genes which cause this kind of behaviour, which it has done extremely well. That's no different to observing that the 'function' of wings is to facilitate flight and that it has contributed to the evolutionary success of birds and beetles and other flying creatures.

So, as far as I can tell, morality makes sense in an atheist worldview but no sense at all in religion.

The universal educators who claim to come with words from God are the tree beyond which there is no passing. Whether we accept the claims of the universal educators that they are from God or think they are merely very smart human beings, they still originated the moral standards found in the holy texts by which most of humanity lives.

No 1st, while an character is praying, attending church, and believes in God, that does not always imply that the character lives through the morals of God and it could be silly to anticipate so. 2d, no frame has the authority to say that any ethical is awesome over an extra. That could be much more silly than the first. third, the phrase anticipate is solely flat out a harmful phrase. From private enjoy I can state that it commonly leads handiest to unhappiness.

there is truth behind every lie and yes man has molested the bible and if you read it and look into other cultures religion you will see that each is a river and they all lead into one body and that is the birth of the bible and of man then you toss science into it and you will begin to see how the bible can aid you and how it regardless of how man has molested it

will tell you how to see the truth in every aspect of life

like how the church created the government then left it wen it had matured and now that the church is clear of it they cannot be blamed for what the government does and the church wants to make sure that the bible claim to god coming is put off as long as passable

with the view that god is infinite so he can wait motto .

so do as the bible tells you

read the bible as a child

now how many children do you know of that will go blindly into a room without turning on a light

Thank you for asking this delicate and yet very interesting question. God's morals are based on the people who made that god. The god of whatever religion based on who were the authors of that religion is based on their value system. As it has been pointed out before in the history of humanity, the stories are as interesting or as just as their authors.

    God created morals.

You wouldn't give your children diseases but God created all types of disease. You'd probably just leave everyone in the garden of eden without a tree in the first place.

Gods morals can't be understand the way we'd expect them to. Only God knows why.

God created everything. Even "morals". and if you stopped to think about it, you just might realise that God's way is the best way to live. It considers the long term outcome, not just the short term (like people often do).

They aren't God's morals; they're ours. He gave them to us when He gave us life. You could say they came from His will for us, if you like to put it that way.
