Is Aunt Sally (aka Aunt Sally's Pralines) a real person and if so is she still alive?

Well she was not one of the founders at least. But she could have been one of their aunts. But looking at the web site it says in the FAQ's..."As for who is Aunt Sally? Don't ask, that's our little secret and were not telling."

The founders of Aunt Sally's Praline Shops were Pierre and Diane Bagur and opened their first shop in the early 1930's in New Orleans. So with that said in answer to your dead or alive question if she was real she is probably a goner. For a full history go to the history link at
