ATHIESTS: Does it bother you to see religions spread lies about each other?
I am not a religious person. In fact, I think religion is the root of all the hatred, sadness, and violence in this world. Having said that, I cannot stand when religious people spread lies about other religions, like saying Mormons still practice polygamy and believe in a married God, and that Jews believe in the genocide of Arabs, or Catholics foster the molestation of young boys.

These lies serve no one, not the target, not the beneficiaries, not the bystanders. All the religions espouse truth as a value, but apparently, some people didn't get the word. The lies are concentrated in R&S. R&S is not the best place to find great representatives of any religion, although there are a few gems.

yeah. what really gets me is the 10,000 denominations of christianity who talk smack about each other. i dont get it. if you worship the same god and believe that jesus is your savior, what more do you need to just shut up and get along?
