office 2007 question!?
some time ago 1 of my friends told me that they had downloaded vista basic.. and microsoft done somthing to the computer and now the computer wont start up.. so my question is if i download Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Edition.. would micrsoft notice and do something to the computer.. can you tell me the worst microsft can do to my computer?

Firstly, they don't do anything to 'the computer'. If you have an unlicensed copy of Vista, they just disable Vista, meaning you can't run it any more. You can still reinstall another operating system (XP etc) and the computer will be fine. Secondly, Microsoft will do nothing if you have an unlicensed copy of Office 2007. You have a limited number of times that you can launch it without a valid license - after that it just won't launch. My recommendation; either buy a legal copy, or use OpenOffice from www.openoffice.org - it's free.

correct, any illegal or pirated copies of ANY microsoft programs, microsft shuts them off in 30 days and key codes can only be used 1 time
