I have a make up question?

I'm in need of a new foundation for my face. I have red blotchy skin so I need a full coverage make-up that doesn't feel heavy on your face. I've used Mac, Este Lauder, Makeup Forever, & currently Bare Essentials. I love the Bare Estentials because of the way it looks & sits, but my only problem is that the jars are small, & for $30, it doesn't last very long. I've used Este Lauder forever, and even though it sits kind of heavy, the bottle always lasted me at least two months. Any suggestions that I could take with me to Saphora tommorrow would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Update:

One detail I forgot.. I have a very light complex (even if it is red blotchy) and color matters!!! This is why I spend so much on makeup. Every time I get it from a regular store my face is always has pink or orange tones to it. And yes, I use a color fixer on my face as well, & that doesn't compensate for the pink or orange tones in a foundation. So please, serious answers would be great

Update 2:

So sometimes my blonde moments really shine through. I just started the Bare Essential, and started with the starter kit, which comes with MUCH smaller jars. Though everyone's advise was awesome, I stuck with the B.E.

Update 3:

One last thought... I will be trying everone's suggestions in due time. The Dior was a little out of my price range, but I appreciate the suggestion. I'll let you guys pick the best answer... Thanks Again!

Walk in Sephora with no makeup on and ask for a makeover. Your skin will look perfect after believe me and they will tell you what they used and they'll teach you how to apply it. Good luck ! :]

If you are trying to get coverage, without pink or orang tones, yet very fair. I'd HIGHLY recommend the Fairest Beige shade of the Holywood mineral foundation from LA Minerals. You can get a sample in a jar for like $2 and they ship it free.

Great coverage, great price, better ingredients than Bare minerals. (bm has bismuth oxychloride in it).

Their full size product is under $20 and about 10g weight (lookin at my jar). I bought mine last summer and it's still half full!

Oh...you can swim in it and it will stay on too!

    Dior Airflash.

Its spray on, so it feels light and gives awesome coverage.

use the physician's formula loose powder instead of bare minerals (found at drugstores nationwide)

or you could try the clinique powder from sephora thats $19.50 (and comes with a brush)

or the clinique makeup (it doesn't feel that heavy)
