Books for holiday?
I'm looking for some good books to take on holiday- I Love non- fiction travel books if they are funny and have read all the Peter Moore ones, also liked Harry potter, not a real fan of romance novels, I liked Dan Brown's series. Any suggestions? Cheers xxx

Have you read Bill Bryson's, "I'm a Stranger Here Myself: Notes on Returning to America After 20 Years Away"? It is a somewhat amusing (but sometimes complain-y) comparison of British and American culture. I thought his description of the different ways the two cultures observe Christmas very well done and observant. Interesting and fun.

In the same vein as you like, 'Driving Over Lemons' and 'A Parrot in the Lemon Trees' are ones that I particularly enjoyed reading on holdiay two years ago.
