The id is defined by it's intrinsic connection to ones sexuality. If ones sexuality then defines itself in a detached manner, so to is the id detached from the ego and the conscious presentation of emotional self. If it is more closely associated with the moralistic and self actualizing facets of the persona then it will derive equally from the mutiple sources of stimulation.
