Want to thank GOD today?

i thank him everyday, recently over the past few months i have been very depressed, i dont want to wake up every morning. But today some happiness has come into me and it doesnt mean my depression has completly gone away. but i want to thank GOD because the happiness has brought tears of joy today since 2007. And it might be a start of something new. So could you please also thank him on my behalf please. Thankyou GOD. Thankyou may GOD bless you
