I like both Firefox and Opera, and it's hard to pick a winner of the two. Anyway, I guess I will go for Firefox. This is why:

    1.Firefox is open source.

2.It can customised with the enormous number of add-ons available at http://addsons.mozilla.org/

    3.Updates are released frequently.

I don't like Firefox's 'Live Bookmarks' feature - I think an inbuilt feed reader like that in Opera would be a better choice.

Opera has a lot of nice features (Speed Dial, IRC chat, RSS Feed Reader etc.), but I hate it's widgets because they don't integrate into the main window and just open up in their own windows. Opera is very fast and takes up a ridiculously small amount of memory on your computer.

Another new browser - Flock - is getting attention as well. It's based on Firefox but comes with a lot of additional features. You can see these snapshots of Flock:

Internet Explorer 7 is pretty solid too, but it's huge, slow and it doesn't have anything eye catching either.

I have never heard of iRadar.

Firefox!!! And Opera is also pretty good.. NOT at all IE!! [:D]..

You'll know why i tell u IE is much worse compared to Firefox.. The Opera browser is good, but the only problem is that it doesn't have support to few web pages.. Otherwise, its the fastest in the market now..

It's all opinion. I like Firefox, and I've used it for 3+ years.

    Some of the reasons why:

It's customizeable. Not only can I change what it looks like with themes, but I can also add functionality, like it will check my Yahoo mail when I start it, it can tell me the weather, and it'll even block advertisements in websites.

Speaking of ads, I haven't seen a popup since I installed Firefox. I've had no security problems at all! I definitely recommend the extension "Adblock Plus".

I also like the speed. Not only does it load websites as fast as my connection will allow, but it also starts up extremely fast, and never freezes up or crashes.

Those are my reasons. I suggest trying each out, and figuring out which one is best for you.

    IE and IRider are gone.

Firefox is hands down the best browser, whether Windows or Mac.

I also love Safari - it's so beautiful.

Firefox is super fast, has great extensions and themes, and is just way easier than IE.

Which is the best flavor ice cream?

Whatever the choice, the reason is really "I like it". Same with browsers. Some people won't use anything but IE.

Firefox. It's easier to use and doesn't freeze up as much. It also has a spell checker. This keeps me from looking as dumb as I really is. Now if it would check for correct punctuation and correct English.

Firefox - most secure - also most resource hungry.
