Yahoo and Vista?

I'm replying to an email in Yahoo and want to delete some of the previous text. I just got Vista and am still learning how to use it. When I select the text I want to delete, a window pops up asking if I want to clip it or print it. It won't let me delete.

How do I just delete? When I hit the scissors icon in Yahoo, nothing happens, the text doesn't delete.

Thanks in advance.

Update:

I was running XP before and never had any problems, that's why I think it's Vista.  I haven't changed any Yahoo settings recently. When I right click, the highlight disappears and the text shows as normal again.Any other ideas?

That has nothing to do with Vista. It must be your browser or the settings you have applied. Or... yahoo might not be letting you alter the previous text.
