Local Coffee shop in Manhattan?

Hi there..

Moved to midtown manhattan. where are the local coffee shops here? not starbucks!! moved to theater district. I'm looking for a local coffee shop with not just to go but with seating and I can actually be studying maybe..

    Coffee Pot on 48th and 9th is good--that's your best bet.

    There is a chain of coffee shops called the Viand and they are pretty much all over town. They are a typical coffee shop, or as they say,,, greasy spoon. I've been to a number of them and really like them.

    Also the Galaxy Diner which is in I believe the high 40's on probably 8th avenue. A true diner with breakfast that reallh sticks to your ribs. Busy on the weekends, but eveery where is busy. Fine for during the week.

    The Flame on 9th Ave at 58th or 59th is reliable as is Moon Rock on 57th between 8th and 9th. I eat at both when I want something quick before an event at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center.

    Jeez, you do no longer provide us plenty to pass on. Adults in basic terms? kin with young infants? prefer to attempt popular new spots, or classic standards? involved in ethnic food? how on earth are *we* meant to comprehend what you are going to love? on the united statesBarney Greengrass is widely used for bagels and lox.
