My directory shows up with a W instead of the back slash \. How do I change it back?

My computer directory shows up with a W and no longer with a back slash \. Can someone recommend a website or tell me how I can change it back?

I thought it was a language setting, so I removed all foreign languages and have only english on.

This appears from a DOS prompt and also from Windows Explorer address bar.
