Does anyone know what the problem might be with a 2000 Kia Sephia that where the belt keeps breaking?

Have replaced it several times and this time replaced the alternator and battery and it still broke...any ideas why this occurring and/or how to fix it?

You need to check all the pulleys, that their moving freely and that there's no burrs on them cutting the belt.

You might have a bad belt tensioner. Check to make sure it moves freely and the spring is good.

look from above...are all the pullys in line..if one is not than this can cause the belt to fail

Most likely one of the pulleys ( probably the Idler) is misaligned, or bent.....but it could be any of them...

Repace the part that where the pulley doesn't turn.
