is there some kind of wireless device to connect my computer to my tv?

i dont have a dvd player, except on my computer, and can't stand to sit in my computer chair for extended periods of time...let alone stare at this tiny screen. i would like to know if there is a device out there that will send a wireless signal from my computer, to a receiver in the next room i can plug into the rca jacks on my tv or something. any info about what kinds of solutions are out there, and where i could find them would be greatly appreciated.

They are called Media receivers/adaptors or extenders.

Even the Xbox360 can be used as an extender.

No DVD streaming though due to copyright issues. But you can stream videos, photos, and music.

in case you have a broadband internet, you will choose a router, some community cables, and all your computers would desire to have a community card (the port would desire to like a much better version of a telephone port). you are able to set up distinctive computers to bypass on the internet this variety. to connect your computer to the television -you will desire to have a connection for VGA or DVI for the two the computer and television and get the cable for it. -If the television would not have the relationship and somewhat previous, i opt to propose no longer doing it considering previous television do no longer teach stuff on the computer of course. -If the television would not have a connection and is a clean extreme def television, you will get an adapter -yet in any different case is to purchase a card to characteristic on your computer to reveal out in S-Video or RCA

before you spend 150 bucks, check and see if your TV has a VGA input plug. If it does you can buy a 20' VGA to VGA cable for probably 10 bucks. Yea it would be a little but of a pain to hook up, but it'd be a heck of a lot cheaper. For a step by step guide on hooking up, check out http://www.directtvinternet.wordpress.com/

well hi, your question is, I think two-fold, one, you need to convert your vga signal to a video feed (your rca cables) then send that wirelessly to the t.v... and connect the receiver to the t.v....I found a website, www.smarthome.com they have the wireless system runs about 150.00 u.s. the vga/ to rca i found at a store on the west coast called fry's electronics... think they have a website.. that lil box i've bought around 30-50 bucks...
