How do you transplant a Weeping Willow seedling?
I received a 2ft Weeping Willow seedling with bare roots. I am only used to growing flowers and have NO idea to grow a Weeping Willow with bare roots. How do I go about transplanting the seedling?

Weeping willows are VERY easy trees to plant. In fact, I had a relative cut a young limb off her tree for me. I stuck it in the ground and kept it very moist. It is now 7 feet tall and healthy as anything! I also ran over it twice with a lawnmower. It just came right back! Plant your willow and keep it moist. It should take right off!

If its going to go in the ground then buy some top soil. Mix the bag with 25% of your dirt. Make a a hole about 2 to 3 feet in diameter and about a 1 foot deep. Plant the tree a little higher than the ground. Do this so when you water the tree it will sink down to level ground.
