Been a HUGE fan of Greg Maddux his entire career.?

Maddux is the man...I think he's always been one of the best pitchers!! Control, Control, Control...Defiantly a first time HOF'er!!

Maddux everyday and twice on Sunday. He was never the K pitcher but he never needed to be. I always remember that game from like '89 or so he went 9 innings and only threw 78 pitches. That is just sick. The thing about Maddux is he can get wins even when he's off just because he has such good control and works batters better than anyone. I take him over any pitcher of the era junk or not. I'm very biased towards him but it's hard to argue against him.

I'd hate to try and squeeze a sheet of paper between the two. Considering everything world championships and K's aside, when it's all said and done, I'd give Maddux the very slight edge. If Maddux remains healthy he should pass Clemens in wins. He certainly was a much better fielder than Clemens. (multiple gold gloves).

Im only going to answer this question because of the the Maddux part but Roger Clemens does not even deserve to be talked abou.....

YES Maddux has always been a favorite starter in my book!Just because he does not over-power hitters doesnt mean that he is bad but what he really does is that he out-wits and out-smarts hitters

Maddux no doubt, he doesnt have overpowering stuff but he locates it very well.

hes awesome and he has over 3000 strikeouts so that makes him like one of the best pitchers all time.
