Ok, so I need your opinions. Toughtest high school sport?
Alright, so earlier my step-brother and I were watching wrestling and he claims, "wow, wrestling looks easy." Now, being a wrestler, I almost had to slap him. Personally, I think wrestling is THE toughtest high school sport there is, and I will base it on the fact that, last year, I started off the year as a tubby kid. By the end o wrestling season, I had lost about 30 lbs. Than, because I was in football to begin with, they put me back in the football period and by the end of the year, I ended up gaining all my weight back, plus a few. So summer went by, and I stayed a tubby kid, but than wrestling started agien, and by the end, I went from 198 lbs, to 157 lbs. I am also basing it on the fact that after ootball season, we had about 30 kids join the wrestling team from football, and all but 4 left.
SO! I ask you, in your own opinion, what is the toughest highschool sport? I just don't want your opinion, I want to know why you think it.

Dropping the weight has zlich to do with toughness of a sport. And dropping 30 lbs during a season is not healthy, and your coach will get in trouble for it eventually. You likely gained muscle during football, and then lost it all during wrestling. However, wrestling is a tough sport, but they all are to an extent. You really can't compare one to another because they each take a different set of skills that are not applicable to another- an offensive lineman could be all state, but you make him the center on the basketball team and watch him stumble. You may be a good wrestler, but are you a good high jumper? Cross Country runner? Golfer?
PS- There is about 6 months between the end of wrestling and the beginning of football. If you actually watched you weight in that time too, you would see where you are actually gaining it.

wrestling is the toughest highschool sport.
you need lots of stamina and will to compete
plus your out there all by yourself. no reciever to blame on the droped pass or goalie to blame for giving up the game winning goal, its all on you.
6 minutes may not seem like a long time, but 6 minutes on the mat is hell

it's obviously football. Wrestling is like homo-sex and football has became almost a full year sport with all the work put in over time.
