3rd silly, ya think?

Question

Finding myself marooned on some Isle
I suspected I might be there awhile.
Befriending the Natives was the best "course" it seemed
rather than end sauted, broiled, or creamed.
 
I'd have to learn the language no doubt
and turn down meal invites I could "Live" without.
I admit I loved the smell of barbeque
but didn't wish to be part of their stew.

I've been to that diner
They called it The Ocean Breeze
Told me there's none finer
And it's better to fry then to freeze

I asked for a menu
That made them smile a bit
I mistook the venue
I was in a BBQ pit!

I was one lucky guy
They were Vegans you see
They cooked a stir fry
Instead of making a meal out of me!
