Xbox 360 Hard Drive Crash?

My HD crashed. Is There ANY possible way to get my data off of it and put it on a new one? I mean, seriously. It's a fraggin' 20gb Seagate laptop hard drive. Every time I Boot my 360, I get the E65 Error. I want intelligent answers, people. 90+ hours of Oblivion going down the drain is to much to take. Not to mention the countless hours I have put on my other games, all my downloads, etc. Someone please help.

Update:

Ok ppl. If you crack open your 360 hard drive casing, you will find that it is nothing more than a sata hd you would see in a laptop. The only 2 brands that are compatible with the 360 is Seagate and Western Digital (has to be a specific model and cannot be over 20gb).

    You shouldn't be using a laptop hard drive for your 360 anyway...which is why it crashed...you should be using the Xbox 360 hard drive that you are SUPPOSED to be using.

    Ok people he means the 360 has a laptop drive inside the little case that snaps on top of the system. That is how the drive is so small the only way to get anything off possibly is to get a migration kit and have a 120 gig drive to transfer the files off the old one onto the new one. You can get the kit free with a 120 Xbox 360 hard drive. Ebay has the 120 gig drive for $90 from a seller in Japan that is where I bought mine. That is your best bet a transfer from 20 gig to 20 gig doesn't work I tried sorry.

    My hard drive gets the same errors occasionally but with mine i have down in a basement. actually my room is down in the basement it could be cold or somthing with the huminity. anyway Ive put over 90+ hours into oblivion and i know who you must be feeling. You could see how hot your hardrive gets when you play a game because if it does get hot then you can buy an intercooler at Wal-Mart for 20$. You could go to www.xbox.com and go to costumer service call the number to get a conversion cord to transfer files. And no it does not matter if its a different hardrive i have a 360 hardrive and mine does the same thing.

    How exactly did you get the laptop hard drive to connect to the Xbox? Via a USB cable? I think there are a host of people who would like to know how you did that.
