    If you actually mean picture...

Its probably the one of Willie Mays making the over-head grab at the Polo Grounds. Its either that or Jackie Robinson's first pictuer in a MLB uniform for the Dodgers.

If you mean pitcher, it would have to be Nolan Ryan or Cy Young.

    Good luck!!

If you are talking about a Pitcher then I would say Htere are two categories for Succesful

There is Money Succesful and Career succesful

In the Money category: There is no doubt that this is Johan Santana Making 136 million, Barry Zito is a close second with 126 million

In the Career Category: Walter Johnson-Washington Senators- Threw 110 Shutouts. And no not innings GAMES!!!

    Thats a good ERA

Cy Young had 511 wins, but over 300 losses, Walter Johnson, Cristy Matthewson, Bob Feller, 3 Finger Brown, Greg Maddux you could debate this for years.

Probably that one of Ty Cobb sliding into third base, grimacing, almost taking out the leaping fielder. It's a classic.

    Oh, pitcher? Walter Johnson.

If you are talking "pitchers"...then you would have to say Cy Young, the guy had 511 wins in his career. Some guys couldn't get there if they had 40 yrs to do it.

If you mean "pitcher", I'd say Cy Young. If you mean "picture", I'd say the sight of Lou Gherig leaning on the bat and giving his speech on Lou Gherig Day. BTW, it was Bob Feller's bat.
