Why don't you write a poem about breathing from the point of view of someone who doesn't take it for granted? Write about what it is to take a breath, or to have air, and what it's like to not be able to, or to be restricted from air. Maybe about how people take it for granted, and how you don't. About how it feels to have an attack. The panic, the inability to do something so basic as breathe. How it feels when it's over. Relief. You know.
