Why are we all up so late answering questions tonight? Isn't it nice knowing we are not alone? Isn't this fun?

It always amazes me that when I ask a question, I have ten answers within minutes. I think this is great. Thanks for being there. Now, here is the question: Why are we all up at this hour asking and answering questions? I think it's fun. It's good fun. Are we doing it for the fun? Are we doing it for the points? Are we doing it because we are lonely? Are we doing it because we are bored? What's your reason?   1:27a.m. Sunday evening

I'd say because all those reasons.

I'm naturally a night person, and there's nothing else to really do at night. 

I do find it fun, for some reason. IDK why, but it is addicting.

I do hope to one day be on the US overall leaderboard (rank 5000 is fine with me!).

I am lonely and bored. Everyone is asleep at this hour and there's nothing good on TV. I may go to YouTube and listen to ABBA (likely "Dancing Queen")

It's not late here, 8.30 AM in Italy. I do it mostly because it's fun and it may be interesting sometimes. And it is also a way of practicing english language for people like me that are not native english speakers.
