You always want your team to make the NCAA Tourney. The NIT is really second class as it receives so little press in comparision to March Madness and if you're not one of the best 65 teams in the country, you're usually not very good.

big dance, but the one cool thing about the nit is if you live near your school and they get a high seed you could get to go see your team play on their home court.
