It was a good race - not the best I've ever seen - but a good race. Carl Edwards is establishing himself as one of the greats in the sport and that's exciting. Seems like the "big boys" have been taking a back seat so far. New blood is moving up!
It should be a very exciting season.

Carl ran a great race but I was so amazed at Kasey Kahne. He qualified 37th, had to go to the back so really started 43rd, had an extreme case of the flu, but finished the race in 7th. Glad Gordon was ok after that hard hit into the inside barrier.

it truly is strictly what people are doing. in case you'll observe, there are an increasingly more effective style of empty seats at each and every race and tv viewership is down. they are ill of the stupid regulations meant to sanitize the pastime. those those who lengthy for the bygone years bear in mind even as it replaced right into a exciting pastime to video reveal and that is all they ask for. As followers of the pastime, they have each and every correct to whinge. Your call for individuals to both end complaining or go away is ridiculous. Given the era of time and likely funds those people have invested contained in the pastime, they have earned the right to whinge. And in case you pay interest, you'll listen the drivers voice a similar displeasure.

I enjoyed the race a lot, I like Carl Edwards, but Dale Jr is my favorite, a lot of people were really knocking Jr last week because of his wreck, what do they have to say now. Tony Stewart had a bad wreck as did Jeff Gordon;s was terrible, I personally don't care for Jeff Gorden but it is amazing he did not get hurt, it was terrible wreck, I don't care for him as I said but I sure wish him no harm. Dale Jr ran good but he was very disappointed he wanted the win so bad he could taste it, but he did get second and I'm very proud of him, maybe next time, no shame in second, no matter what some people think. Good luck next week to all the drivers.

The writers did a great job on this one. That late crash with Gordon was brilliant. A lot people dislike him, so when they have him lose like this, the fans really eat it up. They also did a good job of finding a way to have a late caution, but not be so obviously scripted. NASCAR always has one at the end to make the finish closer. It looks like Carl Edwards is going to get a big push from the writers into the Chase.
