Does it grieve your spirit to see ozzy osborne wear a cross?

since he is the self-proclaimed "prince of darkness"?

Whenever I see him & his wife wearing a cross it makes me feel sick inside. That they would take that beautiful holy symbol and use it as a joke. What blashphemy. Just an observation. What do you think?

Update:

freedom fighter - do you really think ozzy is practicing faith?

Update 2:

and did I say who could and couldn't worship god? Is being a prince of darkness a god worshiper? you annoy me.

Update 3:

y'all missed the point.

It makes you feel sick inside to see Ozzy and his wife wear a cross.....the reason for this is WHEN HE PREFORMS he is called the prince of darkness AS A STAGE NAME. NOT HIS ACTUAL NAME. OZZY OSBOURNE isn't the devil. Nor does he want to be. Have you heard of a gimmick? That's all it is. You need to chill out. Just an observation. I think yours was ridiculous. You do know he's a dad right. And that he does the "old man shuffle" around his house. Geeze wiz!

    Peace to you.

Edit: I didn't bother pointing out that the cross is a pagan symbol....no one else did. Christianity added the corpse.

His "Prince of Darkness" persona is an act. What you see on "The Osbournes" is Ozzy, a soft-hearted guy who loves his wife and kids, and who battles ill-health which he knows is due to his mistakes in life. He frequently warns his kids to behave or end up paying the price like he did. I don't mind him wearing a cross. It's not a magic object. He doesn't mock the Lord. I'd like it if he whole-heartedly believed in what it stands for.

People use symbols for their own meanings. For example the Nazi symbol which Hitler designed for his Nazi party was actually a religious Eastern symbol turned on an angle. There are plenty of people in jail with the cross tattooed to them and they have done bad things. Lots of people worship Christianity or their symbols whether they are good people or not. Some consider it merely as a symbol of protection and nothing more.

Not at all. Ozzy is awesome. He has them all over his house to.

Added: I didn't miss the point at all, it clearly is a joke to him. Ozzy has made a lot of money by getting you guys to react to him and giving him free publicity. Christians really don't get that protesting things only sells more of it.

I think he's just as much entitled to faith as you are! Don't be so intolerant! Do you have any idea how many PURELY evil convicts wear crosses? You certainly have your work cut out for you if you want to start saying who can and who can't worship God!

edit: Yes just like I would think Charles Manson was if he said he was, none of you guys have any credibility.

I ANNOY YOU!!?!!! OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY!!!!!! lol.

No. All knees will bow. Just because someone might not understand everything yet..does not mean that at some point they won't... I certainly do not understand everything about God yet..do you?

I assure you, I got your point and I see also that you do not yet understand everything about God yet. Nor do I. Love others as you hope God loves you..with mercy and kindness.
