Ladies: Mascara question?
I have two mascaras, one is that pink tube by Maybelline (I think) and it "lengthens", the other is a blue tube by some other company that "curls" (actual mascara colours are black). My lengthen mascara dried out and I don't like the brush of the curl one (it clumps), so I use the "lengthen" brush with the "curl" mascara. Question: Is it the brush that really matters, or the ink, or both? The effect I have on the eyes now is way cooler than what it was when I used the proper brush with the proper tube and I want to retain it, but not sure with mascara I should buy... THANKS!

i like to go to some local drug store and buy a bag of mascara wands. they are usually really cheap because you just use and throw it away... but it does wonders for my eye lashes. It also makes your mascara last longer and is better for your eyes. when you re-use the same brush over and over, it tends to collect bacteria and can cause eye irritation and infections.
i never use the actual mascara wand that comes with the mascara.

I think it's the brush too, i like the maybelline Define a Lash brush, the flexible wand, but not crazy about the ink, I love my Doll Eye mascara though

It's mostly the brush. Have you ever noticed mascara adds? They always show the tube and wand, pointing out how cool the wand is, but they never show you the actual mascara itself. You never see the color or consistency of the "ink" before you actually buy the stuff. The ink itself plays a pretty small role in things.

Both the mascara formula and the brush matter. Some formulas are thicker or thinner than others, and do different things, but the brush is what shapes your lashes.

i take advantage of black, yet I in many circumstances in worry-free words placed it on in the course of the end of the day/evening to operate a more effective dramatic seem. you may infrequently tell I placed on mascara besides, so it does no longer count number what coloration I wore. I in basic terms play round with a bunch of colourful eyeshadows/liners as a change.

I use Maybelline Lash Stylist. The brush is amazing!! It combs through your lashes while you apply it, so it doesn't clump.
