Why am I not getting a photographic view in Google Earth?
I can only see the satellite image for an instant when I switch the sidebar on or off, otherwise every map is black with diagrams of streets and overlays all over it. Already did an uninstall and reinstall.
I doubt that it's the video card. If I grab the edge of the sidebar I can see the photo image as long as I keep the mouse in motion.

Make sure your running in direct x mode and you have the latest version..
