Ya Sedi,,, Take her to pick it herself,,,not only, because she should choose it, but shopping,together, would be fun and another present for her,,,(how many times you are out together, do this fun picking something for her,,,) just take her out, a nice dinner,after rounds in the Market, the surprise will be the present and the going out..,,and happy birthday to her...

Some men know how to choose and they have this reputation, in this case you choose for her and the gift will be a nice surprise.

If not I prefer that you choose 2 or 3 things, tell the jeweler to show them to her when she goes with you, and let her choose. I am saying so because some men do not know how to choose for ladies who have different ideas.

Also whether the gift suits her or not, if she tries it on she will decide better and will use it often.

In any case you can tell the jeweler that it is a gift and in case it does not suit her or the size is not perfect you are going to exchange it, he will agree.

but if u could arrange it with the store that he prepare a collection of rings(that u have choosen and made sure they all fit ur budget) to show her when u take her there,that way she can choose whatever she want...so u ''darabt 3asforen'' u got her sth good and valuable and at the same time,she likes it..

but if u really really knows what she likes,then it's better to get it urself...

if you have time ,a day or two before her birthday, you can go out together & have fun ...on the way,you can pass by the jeweller's ,and casually ask her about what she prefers [in an indirect way] ......... then,on her birthday, bring her the piece closest to her taste ....By this you have surprised her,which is sooooo sweet & have a different taste, and you have known what shall fansy her more ;)

I think you know your wife well enough to not get her something she will hate definitely, don't worry and scare yourself from picking.. I'm sure you will get something acceptable! And even if it isn't totally her style she will still love it because it came from you and she will be touched you thought of her..

take her to pick it, that will be so nice of u but here we go.

Tell her that u want to go out with her as a kind of change and take her lel gawahergy :D.

ask her do u like this, this, or that....etc. and when she picks something, just buy it with her.

I would like it even better if my husband let's me choose THIS gift, any other gift, well his choice would be great.

i pefer surprises... women like being given such things without noting for it [ESPECIALLY GOLD!!!] $$)

if she is a gold person [like who isn't!?!?lol], go for it! and pick up sth you know will impress her. not sth she'll remind you of in a fight [god forbid!!!] ;)
