Paint won't stick on wall.?

When our house was built they painted the bathroom walls before the vanity was installed. The backsplash was installed with silicone calk and I can't get paint to stick on it. I have tried useing Kilz and it won't stick. The paint store told me to put paintable calk on top then paint but paintable calk won't even stick. Any suggestions?

Try priming it first with KILLZ. It's a primer put down first with good adhesion capabilities for the paint to adhere to.

They meant for you to remove the old caulk first.

NOTHING is going to stick to silicone caulk. Remove it and put in paintable caulk. Primer will not stick either, don't waste your money. Just pull it out and put in new!!

primer paint...then go for it ...

A primer is a preparatory coating put on materials before painting. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted.
