Love- Far Away by Nickelback
Anger- Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad by Blessthefall
Ready to rock out(happy hyper)- Taste the Poison by Story of the Year... it does vary though, somedays it only takes a hiccup in the sound, an extra large throb of the bass that I'll catch once in a while... Anything that makes my heart speed up.
Depression- Most of my songs on iTunes... I'm going to say, right now off the top of my head, Jumper by Third Eye Blind... maybe even Taste the Poison by Story of the Year (again)
Lyrics - There are a lot of songs that have seriously great lyrics. But, My Chemical Romance's Vampires Will Never Hurt You has this... mindblowing verse. It goes: 'And you must keep your soul, like a secret in your throat.' Envy on the Coast also has this spectacular line in their song Lapse that goes: 'I'm not afraid to die, no, I'm afraid to live and not remember why.'

Love - Here's Everything I've Always Meant to Say by JamisonParker (freaking amazing band)
"So sleep now, so deep in static, drifting in the shadows. Hold me close to the glow of headlights and TV screens. I just want you to feel beautiful for once in your life." It's the whole bridge, and I love it, because it seems like someting I'd say.
Anger - Rocks Tonic Juice Magic by Saves the Day
"My heart is on the floor; why don't you step on it?... Cuz you're beautiful just not on the inside..." The whole song is amazing and makes me want revenge. =)
Rock out - Sunshine on my Window by Spiderbait
(starts out quiet and acoustic) "Sunshine on my window makes me happy like a should be." (cue loud femme-rock) It's just great, like for the first five seconds of the song, you wouldn't think that it would get loud and heavy, but it does. So it rocks.
Depression - StraightJacket Feeling by the All-American Rejects
"Yesterday was hell, but today I'm fine without you. Run away this time without you. And all the things you put me through; I'm holding on by letting go of you." I don't think this one needs explanation. It's just depressing.

I'm also a "lyric listener." it's the most important part of songs for me.
Love - you give good love by whitney houston
lyrics are the perfect love song, imo.
anger - break stuff by limp bizkit
i'm not even a huge fan of theirs but this song always does the trick when i'm ready to bash someone's face in! LOL.
happy hyper - together again by janet jackson
a really fun song to dance to. I love this song. makes me dance when they used to mix it into the songs at the club.
depression - miss misery by elliot smith
well, first of all he committed suicide, he was a depressed person who wrote songs similiar to his moods. I first heard the song and thought it was about a girlfriend, I read later "miss misery" is his battle with depression, highs and lows, etc.
daughters by John mayer
this song really made me cry. I can relate to it and sometimes it's hard to even listen to b/c it reminds me of my dad and problems with guys. Any fatherless daughters would understand this type of song... Here's a verse.
"But she's just like a maze
Where all the walls all continually change
And I've done all I can
To stand on her steps with my heart in my hands
Now I'm starting to see
Maybe it's got nothing to do with me"

Love-"Like The Angel" by Rise Against. A guy I like really cheered me up when I was listening to this.
Anger-Any System of a Down song. They're fast, loud, and angry.
Ready to rock out(happy hyper)-"All Apologies" by Nirvana. Nirvana makes me smile. :-)
Depression-"Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd. I wish people didn't have to change so much. I miss people more when they change than when they just leave.

Love-"Love" by John Lennon
Anger-"Misery Business" by Paramore
Ready to rock out-"Famous Last Words" by My Chemical Romance
Depression-"Lonely Day" by System of a Down
I love songs that have lyrics that are so far out there that you never here often like: "The faces all around me they don't smile they just crack, waiting for our ship to come but our ships not coming back, we do our time like pennies in a jar,
what are we saving for?"

Yer Blues by the Beatles - depression...the song starts out "yes I'm lonely, wanna die..." it's a great song if you are angry or depressed, very pertinent lyrics for the emotion.
