St. Louis Blues?

Downey did the right thing by not fighting when it was meaningless. We play them a few more times and he will get his revenge then. Wonder if McCarty was watching? He just might be playing the next time we play the Blues!

Rafalski's return just shows that Detroit's success starts with their D, plain and simple. That goal kind of, just slightly, reminds me of a goal a young Steve Yzerman scored while he was falling. BTW, I wouldn't necessarily call Rafalski's tussle a fight, I can't remember if he got a 5 for it or not, but you could clearly tell that he didn't want to throw a punch, just get the takedown. And get the takedown, he did. What a slam! Anyways, the Blues were just frustrated. Great game by the Wings, looks like Stella's getting her groove back.

every time the Wings have played them this year they have been this classless. What was with that cheap shot on Kopecky? I see a suspension coming. And the three man gang-bang on Downey? C'mon. They need to realize that being classless isn't going to score them 3 goals in under a minute to tie up the game.

BTW, how sweet was that body slam by Rafalski? I have never seen that done before in a fight.

I agree with Zata, Nips, and Playboy...that was unnecessary for all three of them try and pick a fight (childish) if you ask me...it kind of makes them look weaker, Like they need three guys to take on Downey. Whatever...but anywho the goal by Rafalski was SWEEET!!! Legace wasn't expecting it...neither was I, Good to have him back...
