Do you think the US is finally ready to move forward?

and have either an African American or a Female Commander in Chief?

Update:

this is a touch decision for me honestly. I really do like John McCain a lot, I always have, but there's a huge part of me that really wants a big change for this country.

I would prefer Clinton over Obama though. I do think he's pretty much just a crowd pleaser.

Update 2:

I meant it's a "tough" decision.

Update 3:

alright Jorge, not quite the answer I was looking for, but you are entitled to your opinion I suppose.

Update 4:

Steve, you have a point, but there's been a pattern with the presidents we've had and really, the end result is basically the same. New ideas does NOT equal a follow through

Update 5:

open4one, yeah that's where I'm stuck because I totally agree with you. I've only voted for past presidents with military backgrounds.

Update 6:

Jersey Girl-thumbs down for a long and irrelevant answers.

Obama was the only one to vote against military action in Iraq this time....therefore the only one who has the balls to stand up and do what is right. Vote for the others and you'll be voting for the continued unneccessary slaughter of more American troops.

Is America ready to move on?

There's only one way to find out.

Does America need to move on?

    Definitely.

When America can accept that other cultures have the right not to choose "The American Way", it will have made a massive evolutionary leap.

When the UK government realises that the solution to our problems don't exist with America or with Europe, we'll make a leap of progress too.

The easiest ways to move forward is to get with someone else. (sorry lol) I only recommend this if things are just horrible to the extent well lets not talk about that since SIDE ISSUE... I don't recommend jumping from guy to guy and becoming emotionally dependent. Take this time to focus on your career, education, family and friends. Everything comes in time. Give yourself goals and staying busy will help with the depression and of coarse the right nutrition, right amount of sleep and exercise.

    Let's think a moment.

What change would actually be brought about simply by electing someone who isn't a white male? I don't see that this would CAUSE any change at all, although I think the fact that we are down to one of the two major party candidates being one or the other signals that change has already occurred.

What might cause change is if we have people that have zero understanding for the military as Commander in Chief, and I think it's indisputable that neither Hillary nor Obama have anything in their backgrounds that make it possible for them to even select competent military advisors.

It's an important part of the job. It's one of the few roles of President that's actually in the Constitution.

I personally think out of the 3 candidates running .

That Clinton would be the best one for America in this day and age and will move the country forward.

She has backing from lots of high Military commanders.

She know how to fix the economy.

She will keep us out of a recession.

She has a good health care plan.

She is a smart and capable leader.

She has better qualification for the job then either of the other two.

She has more experience then either of the other two.

She has devoted her life to helping others when they needed it.

She is the change America is looking for.

Yes she can win in November.

Yes she will make changes that are for a better America.

    Clinton 08

If McCain gets elected the world will continue to distrust America and will further lose credibility. The world wants change. We outside America are effected by your choice. It is encumbent on Americans to consider how your choice will effect everyone.People's lives are dependant on it.

    Obama

Voting for someone because of their race or gender goes against everything Martin Luther King Jr stood for.

If you think John McCain is the most qualified, you should vote for him.

Change for just change is wrong! pick the person that best fits your beliefs. If by chance their female or black or white shouldn't matter
