It was the day I died.
And yet the world did not come to a standstill, did not alter. The sky, the same melancholy shade of grey. The same monotonous routine. And the same effort of my feet hitting the pavement on the way to school. No sunny skies; just the finality of the realization. There was no turning back.
The day washed over me with a surrealist lethargy as if the whole population was moving underwater. And I was drowning.
The end was near.
Someone had once told me that twilight was a magical time.
“I wish…I wish I could be somebody else”.
They found me outside the window, limbs askew encircled by deadly shimmering shards of glass. A bed of crystals. I would not wake up. The expiration of a fairy princess.
The fall from the window was more like a leap. A split second felt like forever. I cut through the air with an ethereal grace, suspended for a long moment. A ballerina making her debut. I hit the floor with a sickening thud; as lifeless as a ragdoll.

Are you a ballet dancer? or will this be made maybe cartoon type stuff,like Ken and Barbie? Its a bit hard to follow but I think it mite work on the kids programs etc?..Or is it just made up crap

I enjoyed reading that. I didn't think I would, but I did- even though I feel slightly depressed now...

that was extremely good. it totally removed me from my desk at work to the actual place, time and events of the story. i felt a true realistic, and emotional journey with you. and felt sad at the description of the lifeless ragdoll. sent chills.........starred it!

it's really good! do you write lots of stories or is this just a one-off thing? I'm intrigued, i write stories too so if you wanted to email me some of your work (if this isn't just a one off thing) then I'd love to read them and mb u can read some of mine ? anyways well done :D
