Internet Explorer Help?

Its been while that my Internet Explorer hasn't been working correctly. Right now i use MSN Explorer and it works fine. So my internet is working. But whenever i open up Internet Explorer it shows my home page but than it freezes and i cant type or anything. It says it not responding. It does not have a virus. Does anyone know wats wrong and how i can fix it.

I have Windows XP 2002

    It could be malware on your computer. Have you tried running an anti-spyware program like ad aware? I recommend using Firefox instead of IE, much safer to use.

    change your home page, its probably using too much virtual memory
