I have formatted the vista loaded sony laptop PCG-7Y2L to load win XP sp2 but I needed drivers,where can I get?audio drivers , net adapter driver and the like.

    Try the Sony website, you want network driver first so you can get the rest off the laptop itself.

    get on a different PC and download the network drivers for the laptop and then burn them to a CD or copy them to a memory stick, then to the laptop from there.

    Good luck, laptop drivers are hard to find, and Sony has always been the hardest.

    Then going from Vista to XP is even harder.

    But when you're done you'll be glad you did it, XP runs SO much better than Vista.

    Go to the Sony Website and download the drivers.

    Check the Sony website. Or try doing the driver installation from your device manager if you have internet connection.
