Should Dirk have been suspended?

That hit on Kirilenko was hard, but was it bad enough to get suspended? I mean AK47 is made of glass.

No Question!!!!That was a cheap shot!!But the funny thing about it was the guy he did it to!!AK47 is one of the only guys thats softer than Dirk!!What a loser!!

No, Dirk is not a player that is known to do anything like that. If he did things like that alot then I would say yes, but he doesn't. I think that the NBA overreacted on this one!

I think AK weighing 97 lbs like he does made it look worse.

He did need to be suspended though.

probably not, i dont think it was intentional. dirk was falling and he just happen to club AK on his way down. unfortunately it hit his neck and made it look a lot worst than it really is. flagrant foul and thats it.

    yes

kobe bryant once accidentally hit a man in the face on a shot, and the man he hit even said he knew kobe didnt do it on purpose, and they suspended kobe.

    so yes

and dirk did it on purpose

I thinck he should have been suspended because of the the take down after the foul when he hooked onto his shoulder

no way but if the nba gets a chance to take Dallas down they jump at it

Yep, it's only fair. The guy IS injured and it was a little excessive accidental or not.

  • 1 decade ago

I think it was Fair, because it wasn't done on Propose.

i dunno, he looked like he kinda tackled him... but it didnt look intentional really... just painful... he should have had more control than that, and its dangerous when you bring your arm down like that, so maybe he will learn that he cant do that now... but i dont think he meant to. but i dont think he meant to choke against the warriors last year either.
