The problem is with the latest update of Adobe Flash Player. Many other people, including myself, have experienced the same problem. The idiots at Adobe obviously didn't properly test the product before systematically implementing it. Hopefully, the next update will correct the issue.

Download realplayer because it has an addon to download youtube videos. Download the video off of youtube and then play it in real player and you can play in slow motion.

it is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube easily download videos from Youtube... to your computer... then convert to mpg and play it with windows media player or other player in slow motion (you have to set it)
