usb error or motherboard ?
Hi, someone gave me this pc and everything is fine except the usb port at the rear is not functioning. When I opened the case I saw two 1500uF 6.3v capacitor bulging. So I replaced all 8 capacitor as said in Badcaps. But still no difference, so I tried disabling the onboard usb device and tried the pci usb cards and the freezes before entering window (Windows boot screen) after somehow started the pc the pci card was not listed in device manager. What could this problem be ? How am I supposed to overcome this ? Thanks

Buy a new motherboard. They are one of the cheaper parts of a computer. If a motherboard is broken to the point where you have to manually change capacitors then you can bet there is more damage done to it then what you can see with your eye.
It's a cheaper solution than buying PCI expansion cards and what not. The total you spend on having basic functions work can easily match that of a new Motherboard
