Did you know Carol Barnes has died?

http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-13085...

The former ITN newsreader Carol Barnes has died at the age of 63, the news organisation has announced.

Ms Barnes was taken to hospital near her home in Brighton last week after reportedly suffering a stroke.

Update:

Only 63 - makes you appreciate life, doesn't it?

How very sad but i am sure she would have not wanted to live with having the awful disabilities that go with having had a dense stroke. RIP. My heart goes out to her family. Hope she has been reunited with her daughter whom she never accepted losing in 2004...

Yes it does make you appreciate life. 63 is young to die these days. Although i am sad to say i am nursing younger folk than that at the mo dying.

I've not seen the news today, but I heard she'd had a stroke earlier this week.

    That's pretty sad.
