Is this a safe place in Los Angeles for tourists to stay at a Ramada Inn?

It's true that this hotel is near MacArthur Park, and that this park does have a reputation for criminal activity (drugs, especially). The area, however, is not among the most dangerous in LA, and during the day, is quite a bustling and interesting area filled with mostly hispanic businesses and restaurants (and the wonderful Langer's Deli--yummy pastrami!). Its virtues are that it's close to downtown and it has its own Metro Rail station.

That said, it is a fairly gritty, very urban location. If you are here on vacation, and especially if you are traveling with your family, I would recommend staying somewhere else.

See a superstar; drink a beverage on a beach club at sunset; wear a pair of custom sneakers in an ultra-luxurious shop in Beverly Hills; perform at Universal Studios Hollywood design park, discover world-class museums, or dance the night time away in a starlet-filled club…..this are simply someof the things you will see in Los Angeles, discover that city with hotelbye . Los Angeles could be the California's liveliest town; is the amusement capital of America, with megastar electricity and nonstop activities. Hollywood may be the most-see attractions in Los Angeles. That place attracts countless guests annually who journey there to pay honor with their beloved stars and possibly even get a view of a couple of famous personalities. And often they're fortunate!

As with any place in Los Angeles...daytime is safe, but I wouldn't walk around at night anywhere. Be careful and aware at all times.
