I doubt they will go away any time soon. Even after the next season starts, you will see some questions pop up. I expect more questions start to arise suggesting that he might change his mind as the season approaches.
The image of Brett Favre is bigger than the NFL. He transcends football and represents all sports and sportsmanship like few other sports figures in history. It might be unfair, since there are many other players that play with their hearts and souls. But Favre has become an icon that has become bigger than life. Now that he has announced his retirement, it is big news. People want to talk about it. So the questions are going to keep coming.

they are getting tired but they problem is, it's the offseason & i don't see them going away anytime soon. the draft is still over a month away so unless Brady knocks up another super model & leaves her or if Belichick gets caught cheating on his driving test, we are in for a long month. some of them are entertaining, intended to get a rise out of Packer fan.
for relief i visit the Baseball section. i haven't seen but a handful of Favre questions there.

Favre is a very well-respected football player and i myself am a huge packers fan. With all respect to you, favre rocks and we will miss him. His retirement was a sad day to lots of people so it will take a while to get over it. Sorry

At this rate, probably never. Just like the "am I pregnant"? "am I pretty"? and "how do I wash the sperm off my body?" questions.
