Given his inexperience, is Obama ready to be President?

Obama has no experience in foreign relations with world leaders. He has had no formal training in negotiations or talks in international affairs. Furthermore, he has not been vetted. The republicans are more savvy and sneaky in campaigns. If he is the nominee he may not survive. His lack of experience is showing now as he is being confronted on some of his past decisions. He did not vote over 100 times in the Illinois legislature. As president he cannot avoid having to confront Congress when the issues do not go his way. Hillary Clinton on the other hand, has been tested time and time again. She is still standing. She would be tougher on McCain because it is guaranteed that the Republicans will run a campaign on National Security.

Clinton is the only one of the two democrats who can beat McCain.

As you pointed out, she has been scrutinized for nearly two decades by the GOP - and they've never been able to defeat her.

Obama, on the other hand, has not been scrutinized - and the GOP knows they can dismantle him if he wins the nomination. We all know he's been avoiding addressing a few unsavory issues he's got in his closet. Just because we dems choose not to ask him about these issues, doesn't mean the GOP won't ask him, come the general election.

Unfortunately, this strategy is beyond the powers of comprehension of the average obama follower - so they're just playing into the GOP's hands.

Clinton can beat the GOP in the general election - she's beaten them for years.

Obama doesn't stand a chance in the GE against the republicans.

Obama has as much or more experience than Bill Clinton did when he became president. At least Obama is and has been in the federal government, whereas Bill's experience was strictly as a state governor, and had no prior experience with any foreign affairs.

Hillary Clinton is a carpet bagger that is bent on living off the sweat of others, and also has no experience in foreign affairs and during her time in the senate, has yet to introduce any bills, true she went in as a co-sponser, but even then she had to beg for recognition in these events. She couldn't even control Bill, so how good would she be as president, none.

I am not voting for Obama, but if I had to make a choice between her and Obama, she'd be out, quick !

    1. Bill Clinton in 92 had a foreign policy experience?

    2. Barack Obama has more of experience in elected office.

    3. Being a wife of a President is not a relative experience.

Are you saying Mrs. Laura Bush has as much experience

    as Hillary?

    4. Her 35 years of experience includes everything she did after her graduation of the Law School

She is 60 now. She got out the school at 25.

That includes - the Cattle Futures, Wal-Mart Corporate Board, Whitewater, Vince Foster's death, Travelgate, Filegate and Pardongate, not to mention Monica.

you're preaching to the choir! The extra the Dems exacerbate on with regard to the lack of ability of journey of Sarah Palin, the extra it brings into concentration their own Presidential candidate. traditionally, the vice chairman frequently did no longer have almost as lots journey because of the fact the President (see Truman and Teddy Roosevelt). that's the 1st time I easily have considered any opposing candidate focusing on a single of their own weaknesses and that's certainly backfiring on the Dems. McCain/Palin '08 (and Sarah Palin will make an excellent President in 2016 after a useful 2 words as McCain's vice chairman).

"Hillary Clinton on the other hand, has been tested time and time again." Huh???

Say what? Exactly what did Hillary do before becoming a Senator? Her "experience" is a figment of her imagination!

Hmmmn! And they said Bill was the only one that had a great imagination. At least he actually did do something ... it was wrong but it was "something"! Ask Monica!

The Democrats shot themselves in the foot by doing what is popular and not by doing what is right.

They should have backed Edwards from the beginning. The circus act that is Hillary and Obama is an embarrassment to every Liberal American.

There is no competition between McCain and those two dumb as.ses
