My friend has great baby blankets for sale but does not know where to market them to reach young moms.?
Any ideas? These are hand crafted, gorgeous soft and so cool. They are kinda pricey but heirloom quality and very very useable! Where would she reach young moms?

I would say local boutiques and on ebay. She would probably have the most luck in little boutiques because people expect higher quality and are willing to pay for it. I think almost every town has an area that has the little eccentric stores with the custom and one of a kind stores. Try that. there is Ebay, but remember to set the reserve at enough to cover all costs.

Ebay would be your best bet -- she shouldn't be targeting young moms. Young moms won't be able to afford those blankets.
She will need to market them to older parents and grandparents -- those who have extra money to spend.
The problem is that they can be heirloom quality, but if everyone else is giving them blankets, why would they want to buy a pricey one?

you could think of ebay people are willing to pay top price for good quality items she could go to her local community centre when its antenatal even if she only sells one a week word of mouth will get around make sure she put the name and telephone number on either a card or receipt with every sale. also car boots sales they have stores with new stuff on

She could make her own free website using this site called Zoomshare. She can use it to get to other people and if she wanted to she could even put the site on the google search engiine (which would help). She could also sell them on Ebay. Hope this helps.

She should check her local area for baby shops or consignment shops. If she has a lot of them, help her design a website and she can sell them online.
